Joey Pepperoni - Pasta All You Can

Joey Pepperoni seasonally have promotions. we have tried the pasta all you can in SM North and the pizza all you can in SM Cubao.

the pastas that they are offering are always different. this time around it's the Pinoy Classic Spaghetti, Pesto Cream and Penne and cheese.

I Started off with the Pesto Cream Pasta. Pasta is overcooked(pasta feels sticky when you chew it, doesn't have that firm texture when your eating pasta), I think this is due to less people availing of the Pasta all you can. but the Pesto Cream tasted good could have been better if the pasta is al dente.

Next up the Penne and cheese. when the plates arrived. the serving was a bit small. then when I took a fork full of the penne. I now know why the serving is small, its because the cheese is very rich and very good :-)

We ordered an additional pizza. the Mushroom Alfredo

This pizza is under the double topped category pizza
the Mushroom Alfredo is a thin crust pizza topped with Bechamel, mozarella, ham, garlic, mushroom, red onions and toasted bacon bits. sounds heavy? actually it isn't. When you bite into the pizza, the crunch from the crust and the bacon bits plus the gooey cheese yum P-:

cheese not enough? clean your Penne and Cheese sauce with the slice of pizza. awesome! \m/

finally the Pinoy Classic Spaghetti, this is pretty much the new taste of filipino spaghetti. this has that hint of liver spread taste to it. the pasta tasted better with this serving :-)

finished the food trip with an order of dessert. frozen cappuccino mud pie

Little Packets of Joy - Empanada Mas

My sister brought home something interesting today. I've heard great things from these empanadas and finally I would be able to taste one :-)

upon opening the box what I saw was these small empanadas. at first glance, the empanadas looked tiny and would not satisfy my hunger, aroma was fantastic though. oh well, might as well take one.

I was wrong! the size is perfect! I love the pastry with its very tasty filling. yum!

honestly I'm not a fan of empanadas because some empanadas are hard especially the rolled part, some you wouldn't be able to finish because of the there are a lot of extenders. but not these babies. thin and not too heavy in the stomach

Empanadas are not created equal! the thought of making a thin crust then filling them in with interesting fillings are gooood! ham and cheese jalapeno P-:

I was not able to get a bite out of the spinach with cream cheese... /-:

You get what you pay for (-: the empanadas are great!

Kangaroo Jack

An unexpected turn of events. it's like we were destined to discover a new cheap buffet in SM North EDSA. Kangaroo Jack

This place is packed with hungry customers. This tells us there are good food here, and for only Php169 including bottomless iced tea. not bad!

We checked out the buffet table and we were elbow to elbow with the other customers. especially the line for the pizza! if somebody would see the waiter bringing newly cooked pizza people would immediately flock to the pizza station to grab some.

Spicy tuna pasta is pretty good but too spicy for my taste buds
The carbonara... tastes like pasta with mushroom soup as the sauce. weird. but if your going to eat the spicy tuna pasta then have a fork full of carbonara, the cream from the carbonara sauce would nullify the spicy tuna ;-)

Nachos and chicken pork adobo are good. fried chicken and java rice are fantastic and the pizza and banana fritters with chocolate sauce are awesome!

the merienda buffet of Kangaroo Jack is pretty good if your having a late lunch or an early dinner.

Carinderia Buffet

Whenever we are going anywhere near Quezon city. first thing comes into mind is the restaurant in V. Luna

A lot of people may have heard about Carinderia Buffet. This is one of the cheapest buffet in manila. for only Php119, unlike other cheap buffets that have time of availability, well they don't. so meaning to say... cheap lunch and dinner buffet.

Don't expect glamorous and over the top presentations though. simple and rustic is their concept. this is your usual street side eatery minus the smoke and unexpected pepper when an occasional wind blows by... hehehehe!

Fried fish and the round eggplant omelet are my favorite :-P

so if your strapped for cash and very hungry... try this place out

the 2nd coming - Chef D' Angelo

As I've mention we will return to Chef D' Angelo. but this time to a different branch.

So we headed to Glorietta5.

When we arrived at around 6PM in G5, there were few people in the store... so we ordered paid Php150 + Php50 for the Bottomless drinks. then looked for good seats.

We head over the buffet table. The soup pot is empty... still has lots of salad, pasta and a few slices of cheese pizza left. Man the customers here are really hungry!

So we grab what we could, Pasta with the red sauce and the cream sauce and the few slices of pizza.

When we saw a service crew bringing a fresh batch of pizzas, I immediately grabbed my plate and grabbed a couple of slices :-P 4 Hawaiian Slices and 4 slices of Cheese pizza. of course I gave the 2 slices of Hawaiian to Jeremy.

After 30mins, the store instantly packed with people who wants to get their fill of Pasta and Pizza. or healthy salads or maybe spill over from Max's ;-P hehehe for what ever the reason. Chef still gives out good food and a real value for the money

My last but the first among many

This is the last team building that I would be doing with team.

This team building should have been set last weekend but there was a bad weather, so this had to be moved... Sharon and April said that the team building will happen before I leave the office for good. they both did some researching to the best places to go or just eat out.

enter Chef d Angelo's buffet! for only Php150 Pizza Pasta Salad and Soup all you can!

we have to try it! Pizza, Pasta, Salad and Soup are their specialty.

Pizza, we had 3 choices. four Cheese Pizza, Hawaiian Pizza and the Pepperoni Pizza
Pasta, Carbonara and the Hawaiian sauce pasta
Soup, Cream of mushroom soup
Salad, thousand Island dressing

the pizzas are awesome! Carbonara sauce is kinda starchy, Cream of Mushroom soup is good and the Salad is good :-)

overall great stuff! will definitely come back :-)
